Please be advised that the Committee on Environment, Lands, Agriculture, and Procurement Reform will be conducting a public hearing on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. This hearing will take place in I Liheslaturan Guahan, Public Hearing Room.The agenda is as follows:
Executive Appointment of Ms. Ann Roth to serve as a Member of the Guam Environmental Protection Agency Board of Directors.
Executive Appointment of Mr. Steven Carrara to serve as a Member of the Guam Environmental Protection Agency Board of Directors.
Bill No. 214-34 (COR), As Corrected by the Prime Sponsor, amended and further amended by the Committee – Thomas C. Ada – An act to amend § 62104(b) Chapter 62 of Title 21, Guam Code Annotated relative to parental subdivisions and to adda new subsection (c) to § 62104 of Chapter 62, Title 21, Guam Code Annotated, relative to creating sibling subdivisions.
Bill No. 277-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize the Department of Public Works, government of Guam to condemn 205± square meters in fee simple of Lot 10, Suburban, Municipality of Inarajan; and to condemn 777+ square meters for a temporary construction easement of Lot 10, Suburban, Municipality of Inarajan, Guam for the Route 4 Ajayan Bridge replacement project.
Bill No. 278-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize the Department of Public Works, government of Guam to condemn Lot 2143-6R/W, Municipality of Tamuning, Lot 2143-1-6-R/W and Lot 2143-1-5G, Municipality of Tamuning relative to the Route 14B (Ypao Road) reconstruction and widening project.
Bill No. 297-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize the sale of a three hundred sixteen plus or minus (316±) square meter portion of the Old Dela Corte street in Old Aganacontiguous to Lot 1058 NEW, Lot 1060-2 NEW, Lot 1041-1 NEW and Lot 1047 NEW in the Municipality of Hagatna.
Bill No. 298-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize the sale of Lot 31, Block 2, Tract 240, Municipality of Dededo, consisting of two hundred seventy-four (274) ± square meters which is an abandoned undeveloped easement.
Bill No. 299-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize I Magaʹlåhen Guåhan to exchange two hundred and twenty-three (223) square meters of Chamorro Land Trust lot 243-REM, Municipality of Santa Ritafor the same area in private Lot 214-3, Municipality of Santa Ritato correct mutual encroachments and to provide easement access to Chamorro Land Trust property and for Chamorro Land Trust lessees.
Bill No. 300-34 (COR)– Thomas C. Ada – An act to authorize a commercial lease between the Mayor of Piti, the PitiMunicipal Planning Council and the Guam Telephone Authority for use of lot 5NEW-R1, Block 2, Municipality of Piti.
Bill No. 283-34 (COR)– FRANK B. AGUON, JR. – An act to add §§ 75126 and 75127 to chapter 75 of title 21, Guam Code Annotated, relative to requiring the notification, reporting, and posting of Chamorro Land Trust Commission land leases and licenses.
Bill No. 284-34 (COR), As Corrected by the Prime Sponsor– FRANK B. AGUON, JR.– An act to add new §§ 75107.1, 75107.2, 75103.1, 75103.2, 75103.3, and 75103.4 to Chapter 75 of Title 21, Guam Code Annotated, relative to establishing a temporary moratorium over Chamorro Land Trust Commission (CLTC) land leases and licenses until administrative rules and regulations as required by 21 GCA § 75103 have been duly adopted and added to the Guam Administrative Rules and Regulations, temporarily reducing the salary of the director of land management by twenty-five percent (25%) during the moratorium, suspending the authority of the Department of Land Management Director over the CLTC during the moratorium, abolishing the position of Administrative Director of the CLTC, appointing a temporary receiver during the moratorium, and authorizing the voiding of any improperly awarded CLTC lease or license.
